With her self-penned lyrics and catchy melodies, Jessy celebrates life and love in her acoustic renditions brought to life on the stage and
in the studio.
The musical will receive its premiere full production at Montverde Academy in September '25, as part of their New Play Festival. Directed by David Ian Lee, with music direction by Dean Bell.
Jessy's original lyrics were set to music by Martha Redbone and Aaron Whitby, and their song "Let Them Fly" was the winning anthem out of hundreds of applicants. They performed the song at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park in July 2024, and again at the Lincoln Center Fall Gala at the David Geffen Hall in November 2024. Presented by both Lincoln Center and Brooklyn Public Library, you can read more about the competition here: www.anthemtous.org
